Its been said in hipster fashionista circles that Neon is about to come upon us all in a big way, so Puma have ignited the flame with their Argentina Magic Torch pack. Taking inspiration from the British cartoon Jamie and the Magic torch, where in after being tucked into bed every night, by his mother, Jamie and his sheepdog travelled to the mutlicoloured, vibrant rainbow filled imaginary place named Cuckooland.
Its this whimsical place that became the backdrop for this awesome new shoe, brought back to life by a cult cartoon of the late 70's. Its ironic then that a shoe that became a cult hit in the same era, no thanks due to unofficial endorsement by playboy Guilermo Villas, should take on such a playful, lighthearted theme.
Features include not only crazy skittle like bright neon colours, but UK flag stamped heel panels and fresh tongue and sockliners, which depict the panoramic fantastical skies of Cuckooland. Available in limited quantites at General Pants from late August 2007.
