As part of their ongoing sixtieth anniversary, Japan’s Onitsuka Tiger continue to roll out sneakers based on the signs of the Japanese zodiac and the five earthly elements. Designed by Erik Kriek and fashion designer Takeshi Fukui, these Saiko high-top runners feature a cool grey and aqua upper and a falling leaf print. The changing of the seasons assume great cultural importance in Japan, and this release seems ideally timed to mark the current passing of summer to autumn. Out now at Mita Sneakers.
