Much like the sprawling Nepalese tourist city of Pokhara after which it is named, Onitsuka Tiger’s new Monte Pokhara combines urban style with a robust spirit of adventure. Halfway between a relaxed moc and a sturdy hiking shoe, its uncomplicated tongue-free construction and pronounced heel-tab make it a cinch to slip on or off. The unique arrangement of the upper eyelets means that its colourful rope laces can be threaded up in a host of different ways. The pronounced stitching around the ankle and the striped blanket-like lining gives the shoe a ruggedly traditional hand-crafted feel . Out now at Zozo's Flauge store.
