It's been a while since we've heard from Oasis front man Noel Gallagher but with the impending release of his new band's (High Flying Birds) debut album, adidas have stepped in to help promote. Collaborating with the lead guitarist and three stripes connoisseur, Gallagher has chosen the Trainer 72 NG in OG adidas blue and white uppers atop burnt gummy soles.
You could win one of the 200 pairs available by jumping over to the adidas Facebook page and submitting a question for Noel to answer. The top three entries will score a video reply from the man himself. Two peeps will walk away with a pair of signed Gallagher adis while the overall winner will cop a pair of kicks plus a signed guitar! Available at No6 in London and No74 in Berlin on Saturday October 22. Read more in the press release below.
PRESS RELEASE
One of the world's most influential music icons Noel Gallagher has partnered up with adidas Originals this season to create a special version of the Training 72. Noel has been an ardent collector of the brand since he was young and he dipped into his personal stash for inspiration this time. The collaborative Training 72 NG's release will coincide with the release of the debut album from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds which will hit stores in the UK on October 17.
Prior to the shoe's release, Noel will be getting a little up close and personal with fans, opening up for questions on the adidas Originals Facebook Page (facebook.com/adidasoriginals). Fans can submit their questions starting tomorrow (October 11), and the top three questions will be chosen by Noel himself and answered in a video to be posted via the adidas Originals Facebook Page. The three selected winning entries will also get autographed pairs of the shoe and an overall winner will also receive an autographed guitar.
The shoes will come in an extremely limited run with only 200 pairs available at retail globally. They will be available at No6 in London and No74 in Berlin on Saturday October 22. The new album from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will be available in the UK on October 17 (release date varies in different countries).
