Just in time for the Chinese New Year comes the “Setsubun Pack”, consisting of the ever popular Nike Court Force High and Low. In Japan, Setsubun is the day before the beginning of each season. The name literally means "seasonal division", but usually the term refers to the spring Setsubun, properly called Risshun celebrated in early February. On this day there is also a ritualistic tradition of warding off evil spirits with soybeans (as seen in the sole of the shoe). In celebration of Japanese culture and the countries strong ties to the sneaker culture, Nike have gone all out on this shoe, with faux dyed zebra fur and patent crocodile leather that will probably be seen on hypebeasts all over the world as they strive to once again try and pull off a style that only the Japanese can!
