Initially released back in 1987 as technical running shoe, the Windrunner quickly became the running shoe for the casual wearer with its understated silhouette and classic colourways. It's had about 8 makeovers since then and a whole host of material combinations, the nylon toebox being favoured by Windrunner acolytes. The Windrunner is now back at JD UK as the Windrunner II which has stayed fairly true to the original with the exception of updated eyelets and change in shape to the toe area.
