Riding high on the success of the Vintage Runner series, Nike have decided to dust off a few of their b’ball classics and give ‘em the old coffee-stained treatment. The first Vandal is dressed in the classic Oregonian green and gold, and just looks so right it’s not funny. There’s also an impossible to keep clean pair in white with red and blue trim, and a tasty navy blue and gold number as well, if you feel so inclined. For years we’ve been wishing Nike would resurrect canvas from the scrap heap, so it’s a nice sight to see these mature Vandals, as well as the recent Air Force models released in the tough fabric. Canvas sneakers age ever so gracefully, and they’re the perfect foil to the patent madness of the past few years. More please....
