Following the successful summer launch of Nike Sportswear’s first stand-alone retail location in SoHo neighborhood of New York City, today Nike Sportswear announces the opening of its store in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Japan’s Nike Sportswear store, located at 6-14-5, Jingu-mae, Shibuya-ku, will offer exclusive product, an elevated retail experience, and a new “NIKEiD Studio” service, which allows consumers to purchase footwear designed exclusively by Nike’s creative partners. This will also be the only place in Asia that you can find the entire NSW Collection.
NSW, a pinnacle apparel collection within the Nike Sportswear line, is the apex of what Nike Sportswear represents. “The NSW collection is steeped in Nike’s sports heritage and remixed with cutting edge engineering, craftsmanship, and modern design,” said Dermott Cleary, Vice President, Nike Sportswear. “We’re putting the best of our entire collection under one roof in Tokyo, so consumers from all over the world can access it.”
Opening October 11th, this stand-alone store will be the only location in Asia to carry the complete Nike Sportswear NSW collection, which includes exclusive seasonal Tokyo initiated and designed products.
“NIKEiD Studio ” at Nike Sportswear Store
A new and innovative interpretation of the existing NIKEiD Studio experience, The “NIKEiD Studio” will provide consumer access to exclusive footwear designed by Nike’s long-term creative partners. This “NIKEiD Studio” project will enable these creative partners to share their designs directly with the consumer. The “NIKEiD Studio” will release a limited run of released styles starting in Holiday season.
