As LeBron James limbers up for the new NBA season, he celebrates his fresh start in the game with a new signature shoe, the LeBron VIII. Modeled closely on the VIIs, these brand new LeBrons have gone for a beefier look with the bubbly Flywire windows of the VII replaced with tougher tendon-like Flywire straps. This China edition will be released on October 26 at Footlocker in the US. Interesting to note that an almost identical version with a more traditional Chinese lion carving on the tongue surfaced at Sneaker China a while ago. A prototype, or perhaps a forthcoming China exclusive release?
