As we get more advanced, it seems like we also get lazier. I remember a few years back when many sneaker companies started making slip-on versions of all their key silhouettes. When we pulled this one out of the box, we weren’t sure if there was something wrong with the shoe....or if there was something wrong with us?
The name doesn’t say it, but it’s a slip-on version of the classic Cortez. I can maybe see these on senior citizens... maybe even nurses given the right colourway. Just don’t show these to the hispanic gang members who gave the Cortez cult status.
I love Nike. I know most of us do. But I won’t lie and say that I like this one...
