Some days you see something that just makes your eyes pop out and this is it! Feast your peepers on the new promo Dunk made especially for the new animated film called Coraline. With a stack of references to the bespoke feel of the film, the LE edition as seen here comes in a box crammed with a bevy of odds and ends including rubber tails, oversize buttons, huge mouse/cat lacelockers and what appears to be fairy floss film props all wrapped up in a very tidy and well designed box. I'm not sure any bloggers have realised this as yet, but the sole is also glow in the dark - check our exc. pics for that nice little addition. So what can you say except behold the power and infinite cooldom of Nike Inc? If it seems like an odd mix from left field, consider that Laika films is a Phil Knight project... With this kind of attention to detail, the film promises to be off the hook as well! Thanks Hep-dog!
Coraline hits theatres February 6th with a chance to win 1 of 1000 pairs in some sort of competition that is linked to the credits....
FYI from Wikipedia.... Coraline is a horror novella by British author Neil Gaiman, published in 2002 by Bloomsbury and Harper Collins. It was awarded the 2003 Hugo Award for Best Novella, the 2003 Nebula Award for Best Novella, and the 2002 Bram Stoker Award for Best Work for Young Readers. It has been compared to Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland because of its surrealism and plot based in an alternate-reality.
