The Nike Blazer has come a long way since its birth in 1973, from crispy canvas uppers to 'phat' leather swooshes. Fast forward 36 years and this 'Mid' cut wonder has been toned down to a former shadow of its B-Ball self. Departing at gate one is the over the top branding and extra banana bandy tick, being swiftly replaced by a perforated outline on a monochromatic upper hunk. Even the midsole has been crafted to a more refined smoothed-out rubber vulc feel, last seen on the sweet ass Zoom Loki. This style truly represents Nike's direction of late, stripping away colour to reveal materials. FRESH!
