NIKE BIG NIKE LOW

Don’t let your peepers deceive you, this is not a Dunk – it's the Big Nike! Or at least a low top version. It is easy to confuse the two as both shoes were released around the same time. Back in the day, the Big Nike stood a foot above the rest when the footwear giant roped in 7’7” rookie b-baller Manute Bol to rep the big kahuna. With limbs as long as winter months, the winning combination of ‘bigger is better’ saw Bol step into the record books for his sheer number of blocks (397). Unfortunately, other facets of his game let him down and the Big Nike never could surpass the dopeness of the Dunk. Fast forward to 2009, and after adding a dose of Japanese cool to the heel, the Big Nike returns in a crispy low top sporting three new collegiate colours and a combination of nylon, mesh and leathers. FRESH!
