NIKE AIR MAX GRIND
Another in the series of high-tech, sturdy hiking boots coming our way from Nike is the heavy duty, gun metal Air Max Grind. With rigid tread for dependable traction, the Grind will keep you suction-cupped to any rocky surface so you won’t pull a hammy, twist your ankle or rock your jocks. A close inspection of the sockliner reveals this may be another part of the Varsity Pack, with the same graphics employed in matching charcoal hues. Flipping the liner reveals twin slabs of Energy Return in the heel and forefoot, which can only accentuate the comfort of the Air Max heel bubble. This seems to be the year of the urban hiker, so strap on your helmet, connect your karabiner and lace up your Grinds, you are now ready to tackle the jungle that is the Manhattan Transfer.
