NIKE AIR FLIGHT 89 (SPECKLE)
Ahh...the Flight ‘89. The little brother of the ever popular Jordan IV has generally been overlooked by many heads. In saying so, it hasn't really been a huge priority for Nike given they have so many competing sneakers in this category. Samples of various colourways come through the office from time to time and none of them have really set the world on fire, but this one has us primed to go back to 1989 in a hurry. Whilst using the classic Jordan colours has a whiff of the “Der Fred” about it, there’s no escaping the allure of the red, black and white combo. It looks so right we can’t help ourselves. Throw in the textured panels, speckled midsole and a faux-buck toecap and you got yourself a kitchen sink that is actually wearable. Let's hope we see more of this in the future. Viva La Flight 89!!!
