In addition to starring alongside Seth Rogen as his trusty sidekick Kato in The Green Hornet, singer/actor Jay Chou passes the time as the Creative Director of his high end Taiwanese street boutique PHANTACi. Naturally his store was a shoe-in for an official movie collab, with New Balance chiming in to help with this Green Hornet MT580. The Black Beauty upper is a mix of patent, perforated and honeycomb printed leather which contrasts sharply with the fluorecent green tongue and laces, with a hot pink tongue tag adding a little extra edge. Topped off with a double-sided hang tag bearing Green Hornet and Phantaci logos, only 12 pairs of these handsome hornets were made especially for family and friends.
