NEW BALANCE COMPETITION WINNER

I spend lot of time on the Internet. So much so that sometimes I feel like I should be awarded something for all the surfing I do. Well, as one of our forum users found out, it pays to put that little bit of effort and thought into entering an online sneaker competition. This competition by New Balance came around about 8 months ago and whilst everyone was talking about it, not everybody took it seriously.

Staying true to the theme ‘Walk With The Colours Of England’, our forum member went out and fulfilled all the necessary criteria (which included purchasing a pair of NB’s from FootLocker and went about throwing together more than a few colourways variations. He then submitted it and didn’t think anything of it.

But then a few months later and he receives a phone call saying that his submission had been picked out of all the entries and that he had won a trip to the Flimby (NB) factory to create the shoe that he had submitted.

The end product is pretty much a 1 of 1 pair of NB577’s (which were originally meant to be 576’s) that fully represents the english. Either way, it’s a gem of a shoe and I bet one that will be envied by all.
