New Balance gives the rarely-seen 998 another spin in this stealthy black-on-black colourway. This silhouette made real inroads in 2011, appearing as a sleek grey and blue number before sneaking in a cameo appearance as the sole of the highly sought-after Georgetown-tinged 997. This may just be the best 998 we've seen so far though, as black suede and black nylon collide atop a crisp white midsole. Throw in some subtle hits of varsity red and this is looking like a must-cop. Local heads can pick these up when they hit premium New Balance retailers in the next week – just in time for Christmas!
