NEW BALANCE 576 (LEFTOVERS)

If you've ever been to a sneaker factory, I'm sure you would have noticed all the off cuts of material on the floor. Well, New Balance has kept all their 'leftovers' and have now used them to bring out a run of 576's in 3 different colours.

At first sight they look just like quality suede - Made In The US of A standard 567's. But when you pull the pair out of the box, you'll notice that both shoes are different. Well, not entirely but enough to make you look again. You see, the panels are reversed on both the left and the right shoe so it looks like you are wearing different shoes on each foot. Well....you are but you're not. Its an 'in your face' kinda subtleness cos the same colours are used....just on different panels!!!

The thought of looking like Punky Brewster threw me off a little, but when I put them on, they didn't look all that bad. In fact, I think I would be pretty confident walking around town with these babies on. You don't even really notice the difference unless you look real hard.

For sneakers that are said to be made using leftovers, it is of the upmost quality. I think if you are a New Balance fan, you'd want some of these in your colleciton.
