The second instalment of the “Modernism Pack” collaboration between Spanish sneaker spot 24 Kilates and New Balance, features the art and inspiration from Catalan artist Joan Miró. A refreshingly simple take on this prominent surrealist, the 1500 strays away from the gaudy treatment seen recently on the Air Jordan VII, and keeps the design accessible and uncomplicated even with its spectrum of colours. As Pol from 24 Kilates explains in our exclusive interview, ‘the shoe, which combines perforated leather and suede, reaches its harmony when it’s seen from a distance.
