NIKE MOWABB (CONSIDERED)

NIKE MOWABB (CONSIDERED)
Admittedly it’s not a traditional sneaker, but this is an amazing example of design and I love it! The guys at Beaverton have hit the Mowabb with the tree-hugging ‘Considered’ stick, and in doing so, turned it into a very different beast. I don’t know if you can tell from the pic, but the sole comes apart easily into two pieces of rubber, the lining is super minimal and the whole shoe is made up of only a few leather panels. Clever huh? Sometimes these hybrid concepts can give birth to a turd that reeks worse than a dirty egg fart but this one comes up smelling better than roses. The navy/olive is a really nice combo and the design seems to flow in all the right areas. I can even dig the moccasin style boat-shoe toebox and I never thought I’d say that in public. Ever.
