LACOSTE TENNIS 91 X CROC MYTHOLOGY (WEST AFRICA)

LACOSTE TENNIS 91 x CROC MYTHOLOGY (WEST AFRICA)

Lacoste delve into the mythology surrounding their infamous crocodile logo with their new pack entitled 'Crocodile Mythology - Myth vs. Legend’. The collection consists of nine styles from various cultural centres of the globe, with each sneaker detailing stories adapted from the tennis brand icon. For more information on the pack, check out our extensive feature here.

"The vibrant inspiration for the Tennis 91 shoe comes from the colourful clothing worn by the West African children. This pattern in particular has been taken from the shirt of a West African boy pictured in a photo. The design of the shoe differs from the rest of the collection as it has been more inspired by colour than the crocodile. Hints of African heritage are visible on the tongue of the shoe which incorporates the colours of the logo flag."
