Lacoste delve into the mythology surrounding their infamous crocodile logo with their new pack entitled 'Crocodile Mythology - Myth vs. Legend’. The collection consists of nine styles from various cultural centres of the globe, with each sneaker detailing stories adapted from the tennis brand icon. The inspiration for the Ogata comes from Hinduism and Indian textiles. The embroidered pattern on the shoe and the luxurious insock
come from Hindu motifs and iconography found in temples, whilst the pink colouring is inspired by Indian textiles and dyes. The use of the grey colouring resembles the skin colouration of the Mugger crocodile.
