K-SWISS CYBERTRON

Somewhere, deep in the bowels of K-Swiss, there's someone hard at work trying to come up with the goods... and here's proof! This is an ambitious new model which features some hectic laces and a ton of 'Tron' style piping as well as a full-colour printed toe box. Now if only we could see some more of their Si-18 model that we regard as the true sleeper in their back catalogue...

We're not sure if there's a direct link to the film, if there is, it's a bit weird, as adidas did their own Tron shoe last year as part of the adicolor series. [See below.] All the same, it's definitely heading in the right direction for K-Swiss. Even if this model appeals to only a small group of frisbee-loving, neon-nerds in spandex tights, in our opinion, it's still a more ambitious execution than the adidas model by a well proportioned glowstick. There's also a tree frog on the insole – it's been too long since we saw the film to be able to reference this - anyone help us?
