Our Issue 21 cover stars Hanon are back again with a smoking new colab, this time joining forces with Japanese running brand ASICS. Reworking the popular Gel Lyte III silhouette, the Scottish crew douse this burner in mustard and burgundy pops, paying homage to their local running club, 'The Wildcats'. Adding fuel to the fire the tiger stripes are drenched in 3M making these scorchers ignite before your eyes. Releasing in limited numbers Oct 28th, 2011, each shoe comes complete with 'Hanon Keeps On Burning' dustbag. We are proud to present a brand new collaboration with Japanese sports brand ASICS. Our latest project is a reworking of the GEL-Lyte III - a classic running shoe from the ASICS GEL series. A little inspiration for this style was taken from a local grass roots running club called ‘The Wildcats' and an old school colour mix. We switched out the more familiar technical make up of the GEL-Lyte III's mesh and synthetic application to a lux punched suede upper, blocked out in mustard yellow with burgundy heel and toe overlays. Additional features include tonal 3M reflective tiger stripes, dual branded woven tongue label and in-sock , a plush woven collar lining and three lace sets to compliment the colour up of the shoe. Finally each pair will come with a cotton dustbag screened with our ‘Keeps
On Burning' flame logo. Hanon x ASICS GEL-Lyte III ‘Wildcats' is released on Friday October 28th 2011. A special preview event will be held in-store on Thursday evening where a short run of the shoes will be available for sale.
