The Clydezilla was built using an old Eastern European Clyde pattern that was originally introduced in the late 1970s. Hard to say for sure what makes it different but it looks a little chunkier all round. What we do love is the black/yellow combo, an all-time classic, must have for the SF office.
In case you're wondering, the gold foil lateral script pays homage to a Japanese run of Clyde's released in the early 1980s. These "Script Clydes" are numbered 1 to 360 in Japanese on the heel counter. "1" embroidered in gold thread on the left and "360" on the right.
Offered in two classic colorways New Navy/ Green and the Black and Radiant Yellow and delivered in a custom Made in Japan box. Only 20 select accounts have been chosen to join us in this exclusive Ignite launch in May of this year!
