Back in the late 90s/early 2000s A Bathing Ape made a name for itself on the back of surprise collabs with more staid and serious brands, inverting their familiar wares with a quirky Japanese inventiveness and that ubiquitous ape head print. 2011 has been something of a back-to-basics year for Bape with the collabs coming through thick and fast.
