Hanon and Asics have joined forces for their Spring 2010 range with the release of Northern Liites, a limited edition take on the classic Asics GTII running shoe. Drawing inspiration from the aurora borealis, a natural light phenomenon that is observed in the northern hemisphere, this GTII features full grain leather and suede in varying shades of black and gray to reflect the night sky while the dancing ribbons of light seen during the phenomena are present in Asics' tiger claw stripes. Other notable details include a night sky heel counter, translucent panel on the outsole and customised footbed. For added heat, the 'Keeps On Burning' flame logo celebrates the 20th anniversary of Hanon.
