ASICS RUNOVATION

We’ve been rabbiting on about innovation and new technology in sneakers for yonks. Luckily for us, we aren’t alone! On the other side of the world, two dudes from ASICS who almost share the same name (Remko and Remco) have been busy cooking up ideas to gently ease technical trainer style into the mothballed retro market. What they came up with was this new ASICS pack billed as Runnovation. The idea is to take upper treatments from current technical ASICS trainers and gently transfer them to the classic retro midsoles of the GT II, Gel Lyte III and the Speed. To find out more about the story behind Runnovation, read our feature here. As seen in Issue 15 of Sneaker Freaker.
