Airwalk is a brand we spent a bit of time with way back in Issue 10. With their radical rubber mouldings and armoured assault vehicle looks it took a while for 80s skate heads to wrap their noodles around the brand’s way-out, wildly flavorsome designs. With skateboarding currently grooving to the retro-rhumba, Airwalk are again walking tall, reheating these power-punching Prototype 600s. While they may have cooled on the full-throttle 80s colourways, the chunky ollie pads and outsole flex grooves are unmistakably of their era.
