AIR JORDAN 2011 (YEAR OF THE RABBIT)

After being previewed a while ago the Air Jordan 2011 has just been officially launched, with a special Year of the Rabbit edition slated for a limited Chinese release. Billed as one of the most technologically advanced Jordans ever made, the AJ 2011 features interchangeable insoles that enable custom levels of cushioning and responsiveness. Crafted from luxurious patina leather, each shoe is hand burnished, meaning that no two pairs are exactly alike. With 2011 being the Golden year of the Rabbit - the same Chinese Zodiac sign that Michael Jordan was born under - a commemorative Chinese Zodiac edition has been minted that features gold trims and flecks in the outsole plus a crimson collectors box. Available in China on February 1st, limited quantities of the Year of the Rabbit Jordan will be available in Los Angeles on February 20, with a retail price of USD $180.
