NIKE AIR FORCE III

AFIII HI Premium
Black/White-Ink-Team Red

I love the Air Force III. These were gangsta back in the day. When we saw this, we weren’t sure of what to think. First impressions were “WTF???!!!” But the more I’ve looked at it, the more I think it’s a really interesting match of materials and colors. The base is some sort of embossed canvas. The panels are a mix of patent leather and purple carbon-fiber plates. And the tongue is done in nubuck. There was no chance in hell I would rock something like this yesterday. Today I might just do.

AFIII HI HT (High Tech…?) aka The Backpacker
Anthr/Neu-Gry/Olive/Black/Orange

So Jordan has done it before by fusing existing shoes with a hiking boot. I guess its no surprise that the AFIII was picked to do the same. Its pretty much the same shoe, except that the lace loops have been replaced with heavy duty lace rings and hooks – much the same as what you get on hiking shoes. The leather also looks to be of premium grade and very supple. But what we like most about the shoe is the color way. A nice mix of olive and dark grey, with a plaid pattern lining and a spare set of bright orange laces to match not only the highlight, but also for you to stand out at the backpackers….
