Since its debut in the early 80s, the ZX family at adidas has produced some of the most loved and the most lairy runners known to mankind. With more colourways than a chameleon convention, one of the most fondly remembered of them all is the ZX 500, also known as 'The superb shoe for high mileage training.' Now part of the Consortium range adidas have rebuilt the ZX 500, returning the model to its original specs and vintage shape. The OG colourway has been carefully reconstructed and the mesh/nylon/suede combo is period correct for 1984. Ghillie lacing is the cherry on top of this cool grey cupcake. Simple, yet sophisticated, we say welcome back ZX 500! See more in Sneaker Freaker issue 24!
