ADIDAS UNFORSEEN PACK - DROP 2

Last month we showcased the adidas Consortium Unforseen Non-Dyed Pack to rave reviews and now adidas are back with a new concept featuring three main silhouettes. The standout in the collection has to go to the Campas 80 Night-Day, Day-Night duo which morphs from an all-white upper during the day, into hot glowing madness at night. Kanye would be lose his jaw wires over this one! Completing the pack is the handball Spezial decked in forest green wool uppers and the Gazelle OG Ripstop popped off by flamingo pink laces and accents. For more details check out the press release below.

PRESS RELEASE

The Unforeseen pack from adidas Consortium features some of the archives most sought after silhouettes re-worked with special materials and features to create a collection of truly unforeseen kicks. Drop 2 sees fresh interpretations of three all-time archival favourites, namely, the Campus, Gazelle and Spezial.

Campus GID
The history of the Campus has been comprehensively documented - from its balling origins to historical hip-hop staple - most iterations of the Campus have been covered so it's refreshing to see such an unexpected and well executed take. At first glance this looks like an all-white, premium leather version of the shoe, albeit subtly Consortium branded. But flip the lights and the Unforeseen becomes well and truly seen as the whole glow in the dark aspect of this version is revealed. Finished with an embossed Consortium logo on the tongue, this is truly the Campus for all occasions.

Gazelle OG
From its initial release in 1968 the Gazelle has been a firm favourite of style conscious casuals to b-boys to indie kids and jazz heads. The shape of the silhouette is still instantly recognisable, from the streamlined shape to the simple styling and flat sole and simple upper. Featuring a navy, rip-stop nylon upper sat on a translucent midsole, the 3-Stripes are in also in matching navy while contrast is provided in the form of flamingo adidas Gazelle branding on the upper and the laces. Finished with an embossed Consortium logo on the tongue, it's the perfect colourway and silhouette for the upcoming warmer months.

Spezial

Originally conceived as a handball shoe, the Spezial made its first appearance in 1979 as a lightweight shoe perfect for a range of indoor sports. Today the Spezial has transcended its original athletic purpose to become a sought after model in its own right. This version features the four-zone sole construction on the outsole from the OG model while the upper switches things up considerably with a forest green, textile upper offset with contrasting leather 3-Stripes and heel tab. Finished with an embossed combination Trefoil and Consortium logo on the tongue it's an unexpected and welcome return for the Spezial.
