ADIDAS ULTRASTAR XL
While most heads will identify the adidas Superstar as the shoe of choice for hip hop heavyweights Run DMC, it was in actual fact the Ultrastar that became their signature model back in 1988. A slight modification of the shell toe we've all come to know and love, the Ultrastar was re-released in 2003 with the adidas Ultrastar JMJ sneaker, in honor of the late great Jam Master Jay, who was tragically killed on October 30th 2002. Now adidas re-up the silhouette, producing the Ultrastar XL with extra fat stripes (hence the XL) and a four pack of colourways. You can get your preorder on at Atmos.
