Asian juggernaut CLOT’s new adidas colab isn’t what you’d expect. Rather than playing it safe and plucking a familiar fave from the lifestyle range to zhush up, they’ve cast their creative eye on the more utilitarian adidas Team Signature performance basketball lineup. Designed by Mark Shin from adidas Basketball and CLOT’s Edison Chen, the release is all about bridging the gap between fashion and technical function, something that should be roundly applauded amidst a market overcrowded with reheated retros. This TS Commander is dubbed the Clotarity (Clot+clarity), with it’s pure upper and icy clear sole representing the decisive clarity of purpose required to rise and become a leader on court. The shoe will be released on September 11 exclusive to Juice. With the NBA looking ever eastward standby for other CLOT flavored adi colabs to appear in the very near future.
