It's a big year for adidas, with the three stripes taking centre stage with their Consortium collection. To commemorate the milestone, adidas have campaigned hard with '60 Years of Soles and Stripes', embellishing their three stripe logo to new proportions.
Chanelling the loveable loser that is Charlie Brown, the thick crinkle-cut stripes on the Superskate will make this one of the most popular styles in the Consortium range. With the Super Skate taking the gong as adidas' first skate shoe ever released (1978), it took a well known Japanese brand to bring the silhouette back to life. What was once a humble shoe to ollie in turned into a holy grail sneaker, no thanks due to A Bathing Ape smothering it in snakeskin! This version below features a subtle sprinkling of perforated leathers and suede panels which give that 'so fresh, so clean' look. Pick your pair up at Hanon here.
