Another in adidas' concept packs, comes the STAR PACK, utilising the Decade Low, Metro Attitude Hi and the Oregan Ultra. An original design, featuring sewn on, painted and laser etched stars, this will definitely be a big hit with the ladies!
One of adidas best retroed shoe has to be the Metro Attitude. It had left us for a while, but with the resurgence of Missy Elliott and her old school inspired Respect M.E. line, we started to see more of the Metro Attitude on shelves. The recent release of the Stars pack has seen the Decade Low, Metro Attitude and Oregon Ultra emblazed with 5 pointed images spritzed all over the upper like a constellation on a clear balmy night.
A definite hit for the tight jean wearing crowd, these chunky pups will keep ya stompin the yard on the regular!
There seems to be a little fascination going on at adidas at the moment, with stars reaping havoc on to their shoes. Is it 'cos everyone of us deserves a little star quality on our feet, or is it just some gimmicky, cant think of anything else to put on a shoe, theme going on here. Well after inspecting these decade lows in the flesh, they actually work a treat on the eye. The red stitching around the ankle panel is a dope little touch and altogether this shoe is going to be a massive hit with the stove pipe black jean wearing emo kids.
The Oregon has to be one of adidas’ best running shoes ever made, what with its criss cross web like midsole and extra comfy shape. The lime yellow twist colourway is a hit for summer this year, set off with its stark black three stripes, leather lining, and lace locking. Bless to the heads at adidas for keeping some of the leather panels untouched by the star design, but all in all a nice clean shoe!
