Just in time for the largest Puerto Rican Day Parade in the world in NYC (June 10th, 2007), Adidas will release two sneakers plus apparel both proudly sporting the Boriqua flag and colors. We've seen quite a few holiday inspired releases; Halloween, St. Patrick's Day, heaps of Easter packs, Cinco De Mayo, Valentine's Day etc and now Puerto Rico's national colors offer Adidas a solid palette to work with and the strong references in the design can be seen across the shoes, polo and shorts.
The collection is comprised of a ZX 600 (Puerto Rico) and a Decade Low (Puerto Rico) with the latter using new materials for this release. The Irish went mad for all the St Pat's day shoes so it will be interesting to see if these are hit with Puerto Ricans.
