ADIDAS ORIGINALS X FOOT LOCKER (BACK FOR GOOD)

To commemorate 30 years of friendship adidas Originals are taking over Foot Locker Europe with their 'Back For Good' Campaign, currently available instore. Digging up classics from the past such as the iconic Superstar and acclaimed Stan Smith to name a few, Sneaker Freaker have an exclusive look at the highlights of the collection below.

ADIDAS ORIGINALS X FOOT LOCKER (BACK FOR GOOD)

ADIDAS SUPERSTAR MONO
Perhaps the most popular in the adidas range is the Superstar, or as we all know it the Shelltoe. It’s seen more makeovers than Joan Rivers' face and yes, sometimes it was good. But this subtle face-lift is set off by a nice quilted stitch that keeps the upper tonal, yet adds some flavour with a twist. Looking somewhat like a basketball referee shoe (perfect to match with that Foot Locker uniform), it's time to blow the whistle. The Nash inspired stitching on the tongue tag is perhaps the standout on the Mono, proving that if you’re going to go under surgery and tighten your flow, there will be stitches to show for it. ADIDAS STAN SMITH 'SIGN OFF'
What better way to go overboard on your sneaker obsession, than having a trainer laced with an all-over print of the same trainer! Confused? Good, that’s what you will be when trying to count how many Stan Smiths it takes to make a Stan Smith sneaker. First seen on the apparel line that came out last season on the back of the all-over print craze, adidas go one better with the Sign Off. The detail on the print is painstakingly accurate, so whether you like to floss on a grass court or cement, these Sign Offs are for you! Foot Locker Europe

ADIDAS SUPERSTAR 'SIGN OFF'
Once again with the all-over print, the Superstar Sign Off gets a little sprinkle magic with some stars that represent the number one seller in the adidas collection. The Superstar keeps going strong through all its ups and downs and now gets the full wax and buff with the Sign Off. Also updated is the tongue tag banging out a silver star with the all-important West Coast gangsta font. Drop it like it’s HOT! Foot Locker Europe

ADIDAS PORSCHE 47
Part of the popular Porsche Driving collection which sees two of Germany’s most famous brands come together and take their combined images to new heights, the Porsche 47 slips it way into Footlocker this season. It’s nothing new that a sneaker is crafted and moulded around the specs of a car, but when you meld the three stripes with the ultimate in posy cars, you know you have a winner. There may be a lace system up top but just like Dylan Mackay’s convertible 356, there is no need for clumsy doors and locking yourself in, it’s all about the coolness of leaping into these puppies as swiftly as possible without pulling a hair out of place. ADIDAS ZX 90

The sleek style has always caught us by surprise, if not for the fact that they must be big sellers. Most sneaker heads would baulk at the wafer thinness of the midsole, but adidas have been kings at revamping older meatier silhouettes and compressing them to within an inch of their former selves. None get this treatment better than the ZX 90 Race. As part of the Foot Locker Adidas Originals Collection ‘Back For Good’ they are available instore now.
