ADIDAS KBALL MID (KAZUKI OBYO)

Famed Japanese fashion designer Kazuki Kuraishi has been around for a while, working behind the scenes for such Japanese style dons as A Bathing Ape and Fragment design. His recent adidas ObyO range has been something of a breakout collection for him, giving him a chance to step out of Harajuku’s shadows and gain increased international recognition in his own right. This KBall Mid is a prime example of his classically simple design approach. The rich mustang-brown and black leather uppers are unadorned, allowing the quality of the materials to speak for themselves. Rather than any heavy branding or embellishment, Kazuki’s signature is his sparing use of a single vivid colour, as seen here on the laces, to prick the eye and add cohesion to his creations. These have been recently restocked at the Hanon-shop so hop over there quick to score yours.
