It’s been a whirlwind year so far for adidas. Amidst their swag of superstar colabs, the smooth new A.039 project has been somewhat lost in all the hubbub. Made for casual play, the A.039 footwear range (A.039 is the company colour code for adidas’ trademark royal blue) is purposefully understated, designed to seamlessly complement the matching A.039 apparel collection.
This Double Play is a brand new model made especially for A.039. Halfway between a Samba and a Slip-On, its perforated upper and plump side stripes give great character to the stately navy upper.
