At first glance the Conductor High is definitely the pick of the bunch for adidas’ ’08 collection. With its sheer height, chunk and Olympic inspired colours, this is the shoe that kids are going nuts for. Introduced in ’87 and retroed 20 years later, it is the epitome of taking it back to the old school. Once worn by Knicks great Patrick Ewing at the ’88 Seoul Games, the Conductor High should be out in your neighborhood right now. Rounding out the Pack is the Training ’72 Leather that could easily be mistaken for a set of hired bowling shoes. The crazy colour combos pay direct homage to the 5 rings of the infamous Olympic Emblem, however sometimes less is more. Available now here www.dakota501.com
