F.L. in GVA?

For those of you who don't know...GVA = Geneva, Switzerland.
It's a beautiful city at the end of Europes bigbest lake...Lake Geneva, as we like to call it, otherwise known as Lake Léman.

You might have heard of our Banks, UN and many other International Organisations Headquarters, the 1949 Geneva Convention...and our LACK OF SNEAKER SPOTS!!

Yesterday, while sale shopping, I crushed on these Air Force 1s.







Didn't even get the laces on yet

While walking down an aisle in some lame ass (but sometimes with cool shit) sports store, I overheard this: "Tu sais qu'ils vont peut être ouvrir un Foot Locker dans les Rues Basses?"

A salesman was asking a DHL delivery boy if he knew that they were gonna open a Foot Locker on the Rues Basses (the main shopping strip ini GVA)!!

As we walked by, my wife asked: "T'as entendu?"
Did you hear that?

You bet your sweet ass I did!! But the question was, how on earth did YOU hear that?!?

Has I converted her? DId she understand the significance of a Foot Locker opening in my city? Or was she rejoiced cuz she was tired of me surfing the web and bitching and winning that I'd never have any of these kicks?
Whatever the reason, the day has finally come, when Genevan SFs will be able to rock the shoes we have never heard of or seen!!

Now I know that most of you are thinking that just down your street, you have the finest and sneaker-educated stores, and that Foot Locker is just another McDonalds opening somewhere else...but at least its a beggining!

That night, we both came, and I dreamed of a big referee blowing his whistle...
