blog 21st Jan 2007, 2:23 pm

Been busy with the new year and all but have scored some nice stuff.

Nice pair of Oakley Frogskins from a pawn shop. Been looking for these exact ones for ages.

Lastnight my dv camera was stoled out of a friends car, big bummer. Had two days worth of skating on it for a part in another friends movie. Now I'll have to go out and refilm each trick. Headaches...

Someones trash turns out to be treasure

blog 13th Nov 2006, 5:19 pm

Its hard rubbish time, where everyone in my town throws out all the stuff they dont have time to take down to the tip. This calls for driving around and picking out all the stuff you want ( Yeah, its illegal but. ).

Picked up a great 21" Trinitron crt screen. I was actaully planning on getting one off ebay for my graphics but this was out on the street why not take it.

Just cleaned up this kicking ass bmx bike, its a redline ripoff in pretty much almost like it was never riden condition. Cleaned up the rust with some degreaser and steel wool. Gave the rims a polish and a good wash. Turned up pretty good.

Picked up some other stuff, two brand new office/computer chairs. Been hanging for them since Ive been sitting in plastic outdoor setting chairs. Grabbed two Macintosh computers which still work. Need to find a mouse and I'll be able to relive my primary school lunchtimes haha! Commodore 64 floppy drive still in shrink wrap with manuals etc as well. Also grabbed a nice new ibm keyboard, well 1998 new ibm keyboard with matching speakers. Im pretty much amazed that people never use and throw out all this stuff.

Guitar wolf at the espy

blog 8th Nov 2006, 7:09 pm

The drink haul and my overly gummy self.

Didnt bother to watch the Melbourne cup, but got as drunk as i could anyways at about four o'clock anyways. Guitar wolf from Japan were going to be playing at the espy at around ten. Did'nt have money to get anything inside the pub so me and the crew for the night downed two bottles of vodka mixed with pulse. Mmmm mmm. Bad idea in retrospect. Tried to pickup a girl on the tram who had some nice sneakers, turned out she was friends with people i used to hang around with and now kinda hate. Small world.

The crew on the way to the show.

Got to the espy, all is good. Saw two bands play before Guitar wolf came on, dont remember their names but they werent too bad. One of the singers from the band tried to headbutt a friend during a song. Gotta respect that kinda wild shit.

Had a chat with some random people, went down into the front row and waited for Guitar wolf to get on stage. The place was pretty crowded, good vibe for the show.

Eventually they came out and it got wild. Rock n roll was screamed then a mosh pit formed. I ended up getting on stage and doing the old crowd dive, boosting up friend to crowd surf around only to get dropped on his head. I was in the pit most of the show, only stopping to get water or hurl. Saw Seiji wolf jump off the espy bar into the crowd, then play a bit of the song in the mosh.

They played two encores at least a good 20 minutes more showtime. Built a human pyramid on stage where Seiji wolf tried to dive into the crowd from, but the pyramid kept colapsing. Overall this was one of the best shows I've been to.

Checkout Guitar wolf if you have never heard of them.

WOCK N WOLL! :)

Rocking the fuck out. Bar jumpage.

Loss of tooth after the show.

more nintendo games

blog 7th Nov 2006, 11:27 am

Got these at savers yesterday, not bad for a thrift store find. Savers most of the time is jewish on pricing of games, but these were $2 a piece :)

Also found a nice polo sport bear shirt. Lo life style.
