SUPER SHOGUN x STAR WARS STORMTROOPER - BEHIND THE SCENES.
Collectibles manufacturer Super7 have blessed SW fans with a limited edition line of everyone's favourite marine, the humble Stormtrooper. The Super7 Super Shogun Stormtrooper stands at 24 inches tall, includes a removable BlasTech E-11 blaster, features feet with free rotating wheels on the bottom (because it wouldn’t be a true Jumbo Machinder if it didn’t have wheels placed on the feet) and comes complete with a spring-loaded firing fist!
Utilising techniques implemented by Japanese toy manufacturers in the '70s, this Stromtrooper is constructed from durable, blow-molded polyethylene with a painted vinyl helmet. This figures is also packaged in a gift box that's illustrated with iconic graphics and each Stormtrooper from this series is individually numbered.
So excited are the brand that they've given fans of their collectibles a rare insight into their world. The production process involves two facilities, one for the polyethylene parts the other for soft vinyl (the Stormtroopers heads & hands, which are both are both roto-cast). The 'Troopers' Blaster is created by injection while the helmets are painted by a process for rotational molded goods that includes “spray masks”, which are stencils molded from bronze.
