Only Australia's number one party promoters Opulent can pull of the event of the year! Their distinctive tracks begin with a vocoder drawl calling out, “South Rakkas Crew”, preparing the listener for a fusion of dancehall with anything from Miami bass to electro.
As remixers, South Rakkas Crew are highly sought after by some of music’s biggest names. Acts like DJ Shadow, Beck, Justin Timberlake, Lily Allen and Nelly have all received the SRC remix treatment. Plus they’ve worked with dancehall’s hottest names such as Beenie Man, Vybz Cartel, Capleton, T.O.K, Lady Saw, Mr Vegas and Bounty Killer to name but a few! Their productions have been some of the biggest in dancehall over the past few years.
South Rakkas Crew (SRC) was founded by producer Dennis 'Dow Jones' Shaw in late 2002. Dow Jones teamed up with Alex 'Alex G' Greggs to create what is proving to be one of the hottest dancehall music production teams today. Dow Jones and Miami-based, Jamaican MC, Trixx will be bringing all the fun and noise of the South Rakkas Crew show to Australia. Nice up the dance!

Just to get you up to speed the Opulent boys are here to drop some knowledge on you unsuspecting Aussie kids to give you a few important facts about SRC.
