Sneaker Freaker Custom forum member Sole Junkie has managed to pull off the coup of customisers, publishing his own book of sneaker art. After a freak accident where his son landed on his head (true story!) after playing trampoline on his bed, Sole was sent to emergency with two bulging discs in his neck, which forced the keen artist into a solid break from his nine to five to recouperate. After hearing about this burgeoning art form coming out of Harlem, Sole Junkie turned his brush to his kicks, and the rest as they say is history. He states 'I use my Latin heritage, my love for Hip Hop and music, the use of colour, imagery, and imagination to make statements as well as challenge aesthetics.' Now jumping ahead of the pack, he has just released his own hardcover book apbtly titled 'Sole Junkie : The Book'.
