adidas Originals is proud to release 'Sieben & Friends, an adidas Adventure' web film, starring Michael Sieben; artist, skater and writer extraordinaire. After approaching Michael Sieben to become a guest artist for an adidas Originals collaboration in early 2008, an inspired partnership between the artist and adidas quickly bloomed into a full blown collection. Featuring two exclusive shoe designs, a t-shirt and a hoody featuring Sieben’s artwork, the cherry on top is the rad mini-film and micro site. The web film features an inside view of Sieben’s character-driven world, and actually brings his illustrated creatures to life.  

Conceptualized by San Francisco based creative agency Juice Design, and directed by Eric Noren, the  film takes place on a sunny afternoon in the San Francisco Bay area.  Sieben and crew discover a mysterious treasure map which leads them on an adventure through the countryside, the city, and even down the world famous Lombard Street.  The venture features full-sized living cartoon characters on a three-person bike, skating San Francisco’s legendary 3-up, 3-down, and a myriad of visits to San Francisco hot spots.  Featuring a musical score by Johnnyrandom, there are a variety of cameos throughout the film, including adidas skate team members, artists, and musicians.
