The film follows the three-time convicted felon over three years as he endeavors to use the power of his words to better his family's life. Lemon attempts to bring his life story to the stage in a new work entitled County of Kings while navigating the perilous world of the New York theater community and battling demons from his past. Featuring an appearance by Spike Lee and music by Kanye West, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and Aloe Blacc, this documentary packs a gritty punch.
